"Hill Country Observer" 12" x 12" | Acrylic on birch wood panel | Framed

$325.00

I took this photo in Wimberley, Texas, one summer — a golden-cheeked warbler who decided I was just as interesting as anything else in those cedar hills. He hung around, tilted his head, and looked at me with an expression that said plainly: who are you, and why are you here? I've never forgotten that feeling of being studied by something small and wild. This painting is my answer to him.
